Razorstorm was honoured to sponsor the SicFit London Throwdown as one of the main sponsors.

As well as the prize giving we also provided some team kits for the competing teams.

Check them out below, each team came up with their own concept and we put it into reality. Our goal with team kits and bespoke gear is to make everyone unique and individual.

Diego from Pure Pharma loves sexy burpees

Down at the London Throwdown we caught up with CrossFit superstar Diego Centeno who is now the head honcho at Pure Pharma US.

He instantly hit is off with the Razorstorm crew with a bombardment of trolling and general banter, which is how we roll.

Sadly our resident super troll David “Laneo (skelator)” Lane wasn’t able to make it down for the antics, maybe next time brother.

 

After The London Throwdown Diego was off to Denmark to touch base with the Pure Pharma HQ guys.

We then noticed this below post: (lolzilla!)

“FACEBOOK BURPEE CHALLENGE: 1 Like = 1 Burpee!

Diego of PurePharma US is in Denmark visiting PurePharma HQ. Let’s make him suffer a little. For every LIKE he will do 1 burpee!”

This sh!t was far too good to miss out on, of course a ton load of people got involved to “support” Diego. It would be rude for us now to show some love.

WSM UK Strongman Mark Felix

Mark Felix is a Worlds strongest man competitor and Razorstorm athlete, we caught up with Felix at his training yard for an interview, photoshoot and to learn how to do strongman.

 

Mark showed us real displays of strength and power, it was a big realisation how much strength is an important part of the game. Even in the world of CrossFit, the strength element is going to benefit us 10 hold.

We were all honoured to be made to feel like little children against such an alpha male and strongman veteran lifting tekkers.

It goes without saying we all went back extremely motivated to increase our strength.

CrossFit Ronin

We recently worked with the awesome guys from CrossFit Ronin based in the Dublin city center.

 

The project brief was based around the name ronin,

The Divided We Fall games aftermath

DWF 2011 was sponsored by Again Faster as the main supporter of the games this year. With their support the games were able to involve a pool wod.

The first  competitive pool wod in Europe. DWF also introduced the watt bike for the first time in the UK. The cries of all the athletes could be heard from all around with what did look like an easy machine to operate.

- Who remembers what their legs felt like after the Watt Bike wod? nice?

DWF has started setting the benchmarks in CrossFit related events since 2009 and continue to push the limits every year.

 

 

The buzz from the games was even more epic than in 2010, with nearly double the amount of people competing. The atmosphere was taken to another level, even more intense than the Official CrossFit European Regionals earlier in the year.

After such a hugely successful event, many questions now open for 2012.

Will the games be taken to a European scale?

How much bigger will the games get?

and when will they be in a massive stadium?

I guess we will have to wait and see.

DWF 2011 Official Merchandise

We are honoured to present the official merchandise for the Divided we fall games 2011 in collaboration with Again Faster Equipment.

 

The limited edition official games t-shirt is currently available online at the Razorstorm store, Dispatch will commence the week before the games with a first class delivery. The games t-shirt will also be available on the day. Come to the Razorstorm booth to collect your official DWF merchandise. Don’t get angry at our lovely booth staff if we run out .

 

The Games shirt is using a new unique style of t-shirt specially designed for training, a highly stretchable breathable fabric and perfect athletic fit. The new performance range cotton range is apon us.

 

The Official Competitor shirt will be available in mens t-shirts, ladies t-shirts and unisex hoodies.

The range is available online on a pre-order online basis. We will be bringing all competitor tshirts down to the games with us for customer collection at the Razorstorm booth. If you need us to deliver the competitors shirt to you, they will be sorted and dispatched after the games.

 

The competitor shirt is taking a vintage style feel, a light weight fine jersey cotton with a semi fitted style.

 

 

 

 

 

Again Faster Divided we fall games 2011

We are proud to announce Razorstorm is an official sponsor and supplier to this years Again Faster Divided we fall games hosted at CrossFit Velocity.

2010 Divided we fall games was beyond epic and a land mark in UK CrossFit. 2011 will reach a new level in the world of UK CrossFit, the DWF games will be over 2 days while teams from all over the UK battle it out to become champions.

In collaboration with Again Faster we will be designing and producing a games t-shirt, competitors t-shirt, judges t-shirt, proving media exposure and prizes to winners.

Our studio has been proudly working with Again Faster producing new lines of clothing to unleash to the masses for the hardcore Again Faster fans

what is UK SPS?

If you are in the fitness scene you may have herd the term UK SPS being thrown around. UK Strength and Power Series is run by the one and only Chet Morjaria.

What went down at the CrossFit Central Manchester Games 2011

When the UK community gets together it is guaranteed to be a most epic of days, the CCM invitational games was no exception. Thanks to Simon and Melissa who put on a professional smoothly run event.

Individuals from all over the UK swarmed into Manchester in the early hours of Saturday with the intention of locking horns with their CrossFit brothers and sisters. While all competitors gave it everything they could muster the event was dominated by Andy Edwards and Dafydd Dennis in the men’s individuals. Both men come from the South Wales region, clearly there is something special in the water down that way that the rest of us mortal foke need to get our hands on. The top 5 finishing men all qualified into the CrossFit European Regional games earlier this year apart from Jordan Wallace of CrossFit Tyneside who sadly during the open had to step down due to injury.

The event has doubled in success since 2010 and has been supported by some of the biggest names in UK CrossFit, including Cross Gym, Razorstorm, Boditronics and PurePharma.

2012 will undoubtedly be a big year for the CCM invitational games as the popularity of the sport increases.
